The EcoFount waterers are the newest, most energy efficient, electric standard heated line of Ritchie automatic waterers. The flip top cover design allows easy cleaning and maintenance and the fully insulated casing provides excellent protection against cold temperatures. The stainless steel trough features thermostatically controlled heating elements for ice-free service during severe winter conditions. EcoFount 1 is a single drink automatic waterer for 1-30 horses or cattle. Ideally used in small pens or paddocks.

The stainless steel trough features thermostatically controlled heating elements for ice-free service during severe winter conditions. EcoFount 2 is a double drink automatic waterer for 1-60 horses or cattle. Ideally used when splitting a fence for small pens and paddocks. 


The anchor bolts locations are located inside and under the trough of the EcoFount automatic waterer. The trough must be removed in order to install the anchor bolts. This video will give detailed instructions on how to easily remove the stainless steel trough.
Changing the valve rubber in a Ritchie automatic waterer valve will help to elongate the life of your valve. Normal wear and tear or a buildup of deposits from your original water source are the main reasons a valve rubber will need to be flipped over or changed. Once you notice a small drip at your valve you will know it is time to change your valve rubber.
